PRESS QUOTES
“At this point, Radu Jude is working at the height of his artistic powers... [Kontinental '25] should be a breakthrough hit.”
Michael Sicinski - In Review Online
“Radu Jude gets to the heart of the matter, once again, giving us a feature film that gives us much to talk about.”
Marcelo Paredes - Cinencuentro
“Atop its devastating human portraiture, Kontinental ’25 functions as a snapshot of a city as fragmented and anguished as Rossellini’s Rome: Jude’s take on neo-realism, if you will, for an absurdist age.”
Guy Lodge - Variety
“Featuring a terrific central performance by Eszter Tompa, both comic and affecting, the film will more than satisfy Jude fans but also bring reassurance to anyone who was worrying that European art cinema had lost its combative spirit.”
Jonathan Romney - Screen International
